This blog is to get us talking more about art--and spending more time looking at it. I've created a post to launch each first Friday of the month as a starting place. My selections are quite eclectic--from classic pieces I thought it might be neat to discuss and learn more about to artists featured in local galleries that I thought we might enjoy venturing to.

With the later in mind, I created a post for the 3rd Weds. of the month to be about a local gallery for us to consider visiting.

I just picked something as a starting point. I didn't do a lot of research because I wanted us to do the research we're interested in on our own and share it with each other over posts and over dinner. I wanted us to just go to whatever interested us. . . more on the chosen painting or artist or wherever our imaginations and interests take us.

I don't have a goal except to explore and think and share. We might decide to put up more posts between the monthly ones, or not.

You are my love, and I love how we both get energized looking at art, thinking about it, talking about it, and taking stabs at creating it in our own mediums.
